The War of the Worlds produced by Orson Wells and Mercury Theater on the Air was broadcast on radio 70 years ago, scaring the bejesus outta a nice chuck of the U.S., who thought that Martians were actually invading. There were several recreations around the country, including Ball State. Could something like this happen again? I think absolutely it could ... and will.
